Postbank started as part of the German postal authority Deutsche Post, and has been largely owned by Deutsche Bank since 2010. The bank was rated Best Online Bank 2014 by computer magazine CHIP and Most Secure Online Bank by Focus Money. Postbank’s financial consulting team was also ranked Bronze Service Champion 2014 by Die Welt magazine. The company also won the Beliebteste Webseite des Jahres (Most Popular Website) 2014 in the German market, signifying its strong presence and connection with consumers.
