Dating back to the 15th century, Deutsche Post is one of the oldest German brands featuring one of the most iconic brand identities. Deutsche Post increased its brand value 5% to take 30th place. One reason is Deutsche Post’s constant efforts to broaden its portfolio with customer-focused, innovative products, like special package boxes outside of buildings to deal with increased shipments from online retailers. A new mobile messenger app called SIMSme attracted over one million users in just six months. Deutsche Post DHL Group also acquired streetScooter, a German e-car manufacturer, and expanded its business model to offer Postbus, a provider of domestic bus trips. The company also shows its personal, reliable and caring side with its Post Persönlich service in which delivery people check on the well-being of their elderly customers and contact emergency services if no one responds.
